Principal Project Manager
 

Mr. Ruggles has over 25 years of leadership experience in the information technology, telecommunications, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology industries, including project and program management, continuous process improvement, process audits, and Six Sigma, mostly at Fortune 500 organizations. He is a Project Management Professional (PMP), a Certified Quality Manager (CQM), a Certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt (CSSMBB), and an “Examiner” for Quality New Jersey (QNJ). Mr. Ruggles is an Affiliate Professor at Stevens Institute of Technology (Hoboken, NJ), where he teaches graduate level project management. He is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and a Senior Member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ). Mr. Ruggles is fluent in Spanish and conversant in French. Fernando Portes, MBA/MEng/MPS/PMP/CQE
Principal Project Manager
 

Fernando Portes, MBA/MEng/MPS/PMP/CQE, Principal and Owner, is an experienced project/program manager, engineer, and educator, who has published more than ten managerial and technical publications, and who managed projects and programs for MTV Networks, Schering-Plough, Merck, Baxter, Actavis, Mayne Pharma, Johnson & Johnson, and Wyeth. He is listed in Who is Who in Science and Engineering, in Who is Who in the US, and in Who is Who in the World. He has taught at the graduate and undergraduate levels in three universities, and was rated as one of the best project management professors at the Howe School of Stevens Institute of Technology, where he developed and taught the pharmaceutical project management class to several Fortune 500 organizations since 2005. Portes is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and of the Cornell Engineering Alumni Association (CEAA). He has MEng and MPS degrees from Cornell University and an MBA from Catholic University (Santo Domingo). He speaks Spanish and French and can be reached at portes@bestpjm.com.

Mr. Kim has 25+ years of work experience in various industrial sectors. He worked for, among others, Monsanto Company (in St. Louis), the Franklin Mint (in PA), and Wharton Econometric Forecasting Associates (WEFA, in PA) before starting his own business supplying industrial equipment and spare parts to clients in South America and East Asia.
